- Peel and core the apples. Cut the apples into halves and then cut each half into thin slices. Pour the juice of one lemon over them and mix in the cinnamon and ginger. Set the apples aside and make the final mixture.
- In a separate bowl put the eggs and sugar, mix well with a mixer, add the vanilla.
- Gradually add the flour and mix the whole mixture.
- Heat the milk a little and put the butter in it. Once the butter is melted, add the milk over the egg mixture and fold in.
- Pour over the apples and mix well until all the apples have been covered. Because almost any apple dessert goes well with walnuts, I threw in a few pieces.
- Line a round baking tin with paper, I put it in a heatproof glass tart tin.
- I put it in the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
It's the kind of moist, clafoutis-like cake, not pandipaneous.
