The cake known as brownies also has a dessert alternative. It's made from inexpensive ingredients that we always have in the house. The fluffy, savoury cake satisfies sweet cravings at times when we want to eat healthier or are fasting.
- Mix the sugar with two cups of cold water until dissolved.
- Add the oil, vanilla sugar and vinegar.
- Add sifted flour, baking powder, cocoa and cinnamon.
- Dissolve the bicarbonate in a teaspoon of lemon juice and add it to the dry ingredients.
- Add the walnuts and raisins and blend the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a large 40x40 cm pan lined with baking paper.
- Bake for 45' at 180°C.
