Antena 1 announces a new production for culinary fans! According to the announcement, it will be the first TV show in Romania to combine cooking with travel and adventure in a spectacular way, offering viewers a gastronomic show, seasoned with superb destinations and situations full of suspense and adrenaline. I don't know exactly how it will turn out, but the presentation (plating) looks good.
"Chefs without limits"is being filmed this autumn in Greece and will introduce us to Greek flavour, beautiful Greek locations and bonus, adventure.
Bontea, Scărlătescu and Dumitrescu will each lead a team in a competition where they want to prove that they can handle any conditions and go beyond their limits.
Competitors will often have to source their own supplies or utensils, making the competition even more exciting.
"I'm used to adventure, I got reacquainted with it a while ago, and if I combine it with cooking... I think something really cool will come out! I'm curious how my colleagues will do, I can't wait to see them!"said Chef Bontea, alluding to his participation in Asia Express.
"I've been telling my colleagues about travelling, I already know I'm in love with Greece, so cooking and seeing the most beautiful Greek islands is the perfect competition for me"said Chef Scărlătescu.
"We are entering a competition with equal chances. To the people there we are also competitors, because they don't know us, they haven't heard of us. So we will have to fight for every challenge, every advantage. That's going to be sooooo interesting!"said Chef Dumitrescu.
The show will be presented by Irina Fodor, who will also have a co-host who will tell in detail about the specifics of the place, the dishes and ingredients for which the area is famous.
"Just when you think the adventure is over, you find out there's an even bigger one brewing! That's pretty much how I felt when I found out about "Chefs without limits". My first thought was regret for unpacking, because it would have been easier if I had left my stuff in the trolley as it was :))) On the other hand, I was really glad that we were resuming our adrenaline-filled pace so quickly, because I wasn't expecting another trip.
We'll explore Greece and its islands by foot, by boat, by ferry, by car and I wouldn't even be surprised if we swim, especially for the chefs and their teams :))) You will discover with us the unknown beauty of this country, its rich culinary culture, and experience an adventure unlike anything you've ever seen before," said Irina Fodor, also hinting at her recent return from Asia Express.
